THE REAL DEAL

Often times, one is called upon to provide "authentic" props. Depending on the item, this can be challenging and time consuming (Ohh No!!).

One of our favorite shortcuts works like this...

  • Obtain a new one of whatever the item is, for example, a welders apron, gloves and mask.

  • Take the new ones to a place where people use the accessories you are trying to authenticate. Offer the real life welders an exchange... Their old and used gear, for brand new equipment.

  • It can work the same way for a pizza bakers peil (yielding something well-burnt) or mechanics boots.

This is the creative part of the job. Outside the box, Baby!!

    This is truly a "win-win."

People love to help, especially if it is for a product or service name that they recognize. And especially if they see a direct benefit.

Don't forget to be generous with your appreciation's, it keeps the "prop-karma" wheel well-greased.
