As we dug through our location files this month, we did a little (albeit late) spring cleaning to make browsing our resources a more user friendly experience. Our locations are now separated into 3 categories, Indoor, Outdoor and Period. Inside each category, are sub-categories like; beach, house, restaurant, boat, etc. Have a look in the Production section under ‘Locations’.;
Have a location you want to list? We have lots of private resources. Email us for more information.

Thank you to all the businesses, educators and riders who participated in our last Dog and Pony™ Bus tour, making it a fantastic adventure filled with great new places and faces, lost art, costumes, new studios, new services, new ideas and an impressively trained dog for hire named Chomsky. We stopped in at Rough House,
Lost Art Salon, Costumes on Haight, New York Studios, Birdman Locations, Cal Model & Design, Calumet & Michael Thompson Framing. We had a fantastic, eco-conscious lunch catered by Work of Art Catering, which was presented in all-compostable materials, with 0% waste. One lucky rider walked away with 2 new paid jobs. Good fun was had by all! Keep your eyes peeled for the Dog and Pony™ movie coming soon to the Propville Directory.
Are you a vendor who would like to be a stop on a future tour? Contact us.

Environmental scares, trends and statistics aside, it is important that we collectively focus on being respectful of our resources and appreciating all that we have. The simplest way to actualize conscious living and show our gratitude for our abundance is to use less of it, and use it mindfully.
This new portion of the Propville Post will be dedicated to highlighting the mission of one of our noteworthy Green Vendors. July’s favourite Green Vendor is Vibrant Events; professional green event planners.
Mission: To celebrate sustainability.

Vibrant produces events that minimize the energy load, the carbon footprint, the waste, and the resource consumption without compromising quality and providing a rich and meaningful experience for all through a diverse team of organic, local, and socially responsible vendors.
“I’m happy to consult on small scale events and support the greening of a set or shoot. For businesses that want to learn how to make their on-set practices more environmentally friendly, I can do a walk through and set them up with resources to green their practices going forward! The good thing about hiring a green events consultant is that we know what questions to ask, where to find the resources and how to integrate new systems”. – Corina Beczner 415-839-9665
(If you are a current Propville Vendor and have a certified green business, please contact us.)
